Inspiration for Daily Life

Inspiration for Daily Life

Lately, a few people have approached me saying that they have been lacking inspiration. Some say its seasonal depression, some say they’ve lost that passion to wake up in the morning.

Winter is slowly coming, it’s true and it’s not always easy… we’ve been through it before; and we will once again. So now, is the season the real issue or a bit deeper?

I strongly believe that if you have meaningful relationships, a fulfilling job and you feel inspired every day, then seasonal depression is at least minimized.

The real question is, where do you find meaning in your life?

What motivates you to wake up every day?

When is it you feel at your best?

What are you doing when you feel your most vibrant, happy and fulfilled?

When did you feel your best in the past? Why then?

Is it when you are with friends, is it when you organize events, when you are helping someone else, when you are talking in front of others?

What was your dream as a kid?

When do you feel most useful?

In my case, I think I always knew that I wanted to make a contribution to the world. For years I didn’t know how. What I did know is that I felt at my best when I was helping others, when I was listening and when I was part of a community.

Somehow, I ended up studying nutrition and health coaching and now I have made my passion into my job. My skills evolve daily and I keep educating myself as to get better.

Nevertheless, I also know that I have enough knowledge to start practising now and I can help people now. There is nothing more fulfilling for me than knowing I am contributing and that I help others feel better about themselves.

Now, it’s your turn. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions and see what comes up. In what ways can you help contributing to others around you and our planet?
